The Pittsburgh Pirates snapped a four-game losing streak following an 8-2 victory over the New York Mets last night at PNC Park. Shortstop Oneil Cruz hit a home run into the Allegheny River and had three hits in the game. The Pirates pounded 12 hits in the game, with Bryan Reynolds, Kevin Newman and Jack Suwinski adding two hits each. Starting pitcher Mitch Keller tossed six shutout innings, allowing just five hits in his six innings.
