Sandra Kay Lintz, 71, of Chicora, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 14, 2022, at her residence.
She was born November 2, 1950, in Butler, Pennsylvania to the late Loyal Graham Oesterling and the late Eleanor Margaret Covert Oesterling.
Sandra was a homemaker and also worked for Oakland Twp Building as a secretary. She was a member of North Butler Presbyterian Church. Sandra loved spending time with her four grandsons – working in the yard, putting together puzzles, and playing Pikmin. Incredibly talented, she was a sought after, cake decorator in the greater Pittsburgh area, winning numerous trophies over her 40+ years as a Wilton Method Cake Decorator and Teacher. She was a member of the International Cake Exploration Société. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and joining her daughter and grandsons at knitting festivals.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Robert G. Lintz, who she married on July 25, 1970; one daughter, Janet Greenley of Butler, PA; four grandsons, Liam Graham Greenley of Butler, PA, Ethan Cove Greenley of Butler, PA, Aleksey Chesnavich of Butler, PA, Elijah Chesnavich of Butler, PA; one brother, John Lee Oesterling and his wife, Rebecca, of West Sunbury, PA; and a number of nieces and nephews, including, Jane Oesterling, who donated part of her liver to Sandra.
Friends will be received Thursday, September 22, 2022, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Thompson – Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022, 11:00 am at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home Inc., 124 East North St. Butler, PA.
Burial will take place in the Butler County Memorial Park.
