Butler County Commissioners voted to move a polling place in Clearfield Township, however decided against moving another location in Concord Township.
Commissioners heard from a former council member and resident of Concord Township, who said the polling place’s current location at the municipal building is fine and doesn’t need changed. She also criticized the judge of elections in the precinct and those who oversee the election.
Commissioners said they wanted to learn more about the situation before moving the location to the Concord Presbyterian Church. They all voted against the move, meaning this fall’s election will remain at the Concord Township Municipal Building.
Clearfield Township voters meanwhile will be moving to St. John’s Catholic Church on Clearfield Road.
