After being pounded by the Buffalo Bills a week before, The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday 20-18. They won the game despite numerous injuries in their secondary, and losing starting quarterback Kenny Pickett to a head injury during the game. Mitch Trubisky led to a field goal and what would be the game-winning touchdown in the second half. He hit Chase Claypool on a six-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter. The Steelers won the game after Brady led the Bucs to a late fourth quarter score, but linebacker Devin Bush knocked down a pass on the following two-point conversion that would have tied the game.
The Steelers will travel to Miami for a Sunday Night Football game this weekend. Pickett was being evaluated for a concussion.
Meanwhile, Miami quarterback Tua Tagavailoa was cleared over the weekend after suffering a recent concussion. He did not play in the Dolphins 24-16 loss to Minnesota Sunday.
