A woman from Volant is facing animal cruelty and endangering children welfare charges after police say they found her home in deplorable condition.
State police say they received an anonymous complaint about a Pitbull breeding operation being run out of a home on Rabbit Lane in Washington Township, Lawrence County.
When police arrived at the home of 38-year-old Tesha Berry, they found it in “deplorable and neglected conditions.”
Police also discovered four children were living inside the house; children and youth were soon contacted and are currently investigating.
There were also 30 pitbulls and two cats found inside; they were taken by police.
