Anyone interested in learning more about local nature are invited out to a community trail for several upcoming events.
This Tuesday (November 22nd) as well as next Tuesday (November 29th) a naturalist will lead participants on a hike around Buffalo Creek Nature Park, which will then lead onto the Butler – Freeport Community Trail.
During the hike, attendees will learn more about birds and other nature facts. Participants will also be able to borrow binoculars from the park to enhance their hike.
The events are expected to begin at 9am and continue until 10am. The group will meet at the pavilion by the nature center, which is located on Monroe Road in Sarver.
Participants are reminded to wear proper shoes and to dress for the weather.
