A truck driver from the State of Indiana will be spending decades in prison after he sexually abused a young girl from Butler.
According to the Department of Justice, 33-year-old Roderick King was sentenced last week to 37 years in jail.
The investigation began in 2020 when the young girl walked into the Butler Township Police Station and told authorities she had been abused.
Police would discover that King began the abuse in 2017 when the victim was 14. DOJ officials say King paid the girl for sex and also produced two videos of his sexual exploitations.
During the sentencing, the judge overseeing the case said of the many disturbing facts of the case, one of the most was King’s “lack of remorse.”
