A new study by AAA says dangerous driving habits are on the rise.
According to AAA spokesperson Jana Tidwell, despite the fact that many drivers believe speeding, running red lights, and aggressive driving are dangerous, many admit to doing them anyways.
“By educating motorists to what is happening, what people are doing behind the wheel and how dangerous it is, it’s our hope that we can change those driving behaviors. Because it’s those behaviors that lead to unfortunately multiple vehicle crashes and ultimately way too many fatalities on our roadways,” Tidwell said.
One of the most alarming stats AAA found was that nearly 25 percent surveyed said they have gotten behind the wheel after drinking enough to know they were over the limit.
