Barbara Rihel

Barbara Rihel, 64, of Butler passed away on Tuesday, February 7th, 2023. She was born in Butler on April 2nd, 1958 to Lawrence & Violet (Crispin) Rihel. Barbara graduated from Butler High School in 1977. After high school she lived a simple life with her dog Levi who will accompany her in her next journey. Although she never had any children of her own, she enjoyed helping raise all her nieces & nephews. Barbara was known to be a very loving and caring person. She loved to spend time in the kitchen and was known for her famous sugar cookies. She was loved and will be forever missed. Along with her parents, Barbara left behind her sister Melanie Schuler, her brothers Lawrence (Shirley) Rihel Jr., David (Rochelle) Rihel, and Michael Rihel. She also left behind numerous nieces, nephews, and 2 great nieces. Family & friends will be received on Saturday, February 11th, 2023 from 6-8 PM at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD, BUTLER, PA 16001. WWW.SPENCERGEIBEL.COM. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home. Burial will be held privately at Butler County Memorial Park Cemetery.
