St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner and it falls on a Friday this year during the Lenten season.
As in the past, Bishop David Zubik is offering dispensation from the obligation to abstain from meat that day.
Bishop Zubik says that St. Patrick has had a great impact on many people in the Diocese of Pittsburgh.
The Bishop also said that if you do enjoy meat in celebration of St. Patrick, that you also perform another act of Lenten discipline that day.
