A couple of state agencies are observing “America Saves Week” with an online program for families of students looking to continue higher education later this week.
The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) and the PA Treasury Department are hosting a virtual presentation Wednesday from noon to 12:30 p.m. titled “PA Forward Student Loans and Financial Aid”.
State experts will focus on the benefits of PA 529 Plans and other ways to fund college such as PA Forward loans which are state-based private student borrowing options to cover gaps in funding.
