The ACC basketball tournament begins today in Greensboro, North Carolina. Pitt is the #5-seed and will face the winner of the opening game of the tournament. #12-Florida State will meet #13 Georgia Tech this afternoon at 2pm. The Pitt game will be tomorrow at 2:30pm. The winner of that game moves on to face #4-seed Duke Thursday.
Pitt head coach Jeff Capel was honored Monday when he was named the ACC Coach of the Year. Jamarius Burton was named the the conference First Team. Blake Hinson was named to the Second Team.
