It’s that time of the year again—we’re springing ahead this weekend.
Daylight Saving Time resumes this Sunday which means we move our clocks up one hour.
The jump forward officially happens at 2 a.m. Sunday.
Most cell phones and internet clocks automatically make the change now. But, some clocks on ovens, cars, and of course the old fashioned grandfather clocks need to be reset manually.
One of the benefits of losing the hour of sleep is that it stays lighter out later. Sunrise for Sunday is set for 7:36 a.m. and sunset will happen at 7:22 p.m.
