Butler Township is moving ahead with plans for road work to take place this summer.
During their Monday night meeting, the Butler Township Commissioners approved the drafting of specifications and advertising of bids for this summer’s road resurfacing and seal coating projects.
Roads that are scheduled to receive attention this year include the entire portion of Evans Road in Butler Township as well as most of Litman Road except for the part near the intersection with Route 8 where construction is ongoing at the Greater Butler Mart.
The work is expected to begin after school lets out and finish before it begins again in the fall.
