PIAA Basketball Playoffs:
–The North Catholic girls will meet Blackhawk tonight in the Western Region Semifinals. Tip-off is 6:30pm at New Castle high school. The Lady Trojans enter the game 25-3 overall. Blackhawk is 24-4.
–The Deer Lakes boys will meet Penn Cambria in the Class 3A Western Region Semifinals. Tip-off is 7:30pm at Hempfield high school.
Armstrong and South Fayette meet tonight in the Class 2A PIHL Hockey Penguins Cup Championship game. Face-off is 6:15pm at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry.
