The Slippery Rock University version of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ is about to return.
The event will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Dance Studio Theater in Stoner West on the SRU campus.
Six SRU professors are paired up with student dancers, and have been rehearsing choreographed routines. The winning student will receive a scholarship while the winning faculty member will be named SRU Star Dancer. The evening will also include SRU’s Afro-Columbian Dance Ensemble and the JAM-Rock Hip Hop Dance Team.
General admission tickets for this event are $10 and available through the SRU website. All proceeds benefit the SRU chapter of the National Honors Society for Dance Arts scholarships.
