The City of Butler Parks, Recreation Grounds, and Facilities Authority is working on adding some new features for those who plan on taking in a local ballgame this summer.
Authority board members recently heard about expansion of concessions as well as an arcade at Michelle Krill Field at Historic Pullman Park.
The concessions expansion is expected to include a bar that will be constructed or bought for the Upper Deck to allow for the purchase of drinks, hotdogs, chips, and popcorn. A TV and a keggerator are also expected to be added. The Party deck will feature specialty items for BlueSox games.
A rental agreement with Tokens Arcade will see the instillation of around 10 arcade games to the former store room area which will still have merchandise for sale. The Authority will split the proceeds from the machines with Tokens and a change machine will be available at the park for those looking to play the games.
