According to a new study, Butler County saw the most significant growth out of any county in Western Pennsylvania in the last couple of years.
The U.S. Census Bureau released new population estimates that showed Butler was one of only 27 counties in the state to gain population since 2020.
The study revealed that an estimated 3,533 people moved into the county in the last two years.
Both Allegheny and Philadelphia Counties saw the largest population decrease in Pennsylvania in the last two years.
