Anyone interested in volunteering at Moraine or McConnells Mill State Parks are invited to attend a kickoff meeting scheduled for later this week.
On Saturday (April 15th), park staff and representatives of the non-profit groups that support the parks will meet in the McDanel’s Area near the Owlet Gift Shop on the North Shore starting at 10:30am.
Those interested in volunteering will learn more about a variety of opportunities at both parks including trail work, native plants, special events, and living history.
Saturday’s event is expected to run until 12:30pm. Registration is available on the DCNR Calendar of Events.
