PennDOT is looking to promote pollination as part of their new license plate design.
Vehicle owners will now be able to purchase the pollinator plate which features a graphic of a butterfly and a flower.
Officials say a portion of the proceeds from the sales will go to the Pollinator Habitat Program Fund. The fund will create gardens and meadows that will be planted with pollinator-friendly flowers.
