A group of local students have been recognized for their efforts in a regional contest.
Two teams of eight total students at Butler Intermediate School produced videos as part of the “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?” video contest.
The videos are about quality manufacturing jobs offered by local companies JSP International and MECCO. One team earned the Best Overall Video award as well as the Viewers Choice award while the other won Best Manufacturing Message.
The Best Overall Video team will move on to the state competition later this year.
