A generous donation from a local philanthropic group is going a long way towards improving local education.
A gift of over $10,000 made by 100+ Men Who Care to the nonprofit Education Partnership was made in December of 2022.
The gift was used by the organization to pay for staffing in order to manage a shipment of nearly $1 million of school supplies donated by Amazon after they were returned by customers. Over half of those supplies have already been distributed to schools in Southwest PA.
100+ Men Who Care meets quarterly and is based out of the Regional Learning Alliance in Cranberry Township.
