Local students will be among those in Harrisburg this week to advocate for increased educational funding.
On Monday, students from 15 Community Colleges across the state will participate in a “Community College Day” rally in the Capitol Rotunda.
Before the rally, interactive training exhibits in areas like nursing and public safety are planned to begin at 9 a.m. while after the rally the State Senate will honor community college students in the Senate Gallery.
Students will stress to lawmakers the importance of community colleges and advocate for additional funding.
