Stanley Cup Playoffs:
–New Jersey evened their series with the New York Rangers following a 3-1 win last night. The series is tied at 2-2.
–The Toronto Maple Leafs came back from a 4-1 deficit to defeat the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-4 in overtime, and have now taken a 3-1 series lead.
–Seattle defeated Colorado 3-2 in overtime last night to even their series with the defending Stanley Cup champion Avalanche at 2-2, but the Kraken may have lost leading scorer, and former Pittsburgh Penguins Jared McCann to an injury. McCann was hit late hit in the first period. He was their leading scorer this season.
–The Vegas Golden Knights have taken a 3-1 series lead following a 4-2 win over Winnipeg.
NBA Playoffs:
–The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 117-111 in overtime and have taken a 3-1 series lead. Lebron James led the Lakers with 22 points and 20 rebounds, the first 20-20 game in his nearly 1,700-game career. The 38-year old James became the oldest NBA player to achieve that statistical mark since Wilt Chamberlain did it at the age of 36 in 1973.
–The Miami Heat defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 119-114 to take a 3-1 series lead. Jimmy Butler led the Heat with 56 points,
