Robert Russell Carbin, 83, of Butler, PA, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at his residence.
He was born June 13, 1939 in East Butler, PA, the son of the late Anthony Wm. Carbin and Alberta (Knouse) Carbin.
Robert was a veteran of US Army and member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was a jack of all trades, working as a contractor, and could do or fix anything. He could even ride a horse and rope cows. He liked to hunt, fish, build wooden things, do remodeling and gardening.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann (Crouch) Carbin whom he married in 1960; 4 daughters, LouAnn (Leo) Mohan of Butler, Diana Lynn (Larry) LeGrand of Butler, Melinda (Wayne) Fuchs of Slippery Rock, Carolyn Gaiser of Butler, 3 sons, Robert Carbin of Chicora, Timothy (Missy) Carbin of Butler, Tom (Faye) Carbin of Butler, 21 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son, granddaughter, Cora, and 3 sisters, Dorothy Geibel, Helen Hilliard, and Jean Black.
Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8PM.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 10 AM with his pastor, David Phillips officiating.
Private interment in the Butler County Memorial Park.
