Pennsylvania State Police in neighboring Armstrong County are holding a fundraiser this weekend to benefit this summer’s Camp Cadet.
A motorcycle ride beginning and ending at the Lenape Vo-Tech in Ford City will kick off with registration from 9 to 11 a.m. A cookout with food and beverages will follow along with raffles and entertainment.
Camp Cadet is an annual summertime camp for students with interest in law enforcement or the military. During the five day camp, students are exposed to training similar to what happens at the state police academy.
The cost is $25 for bike and driver with an additional $15 for a bike passenger. Registration includes food, beverages, and a t-shirt. Learn more about this organization through the Armstrong County Camp Cadet website.
