Carolyn Stutz, of Butler passed away at home from cancer with her loving husband Ron Stutz by her side on Monday, May 22, 2023. She was born in Butler on February 16, 1950 to the late Ralph and Lillian (Gamble) Wymer. Carolyn graduated from BHS in 1969. In her teen years she broke multiple swimming and track records. She completed BC3 and Slippery Rock State College with her BA and Associate Degree in Health and Phys. Ed, graduating in 1974. Carolyn worked at Sunnyview Nursing Home as an activity director, then at a nursing home in Dallas, Tx. While in Dallas she learned to hang wallpaper which she did for more than 20 years. Carolyn was an Elder at Hill Presby Church for numerous years where her grandfather Samuel Gamble was a pastor. She then became a member of First Methodist Church where she volunteered for several activities. Carolyn was the beloved wife of Ronald Stutz; sister of Sam, Dan, and Randy.
