A longtime local businessman has passed away.
Lester Elliott Jr. of Renfrew began his business career in 1959 when he opened Elliott’s Tire Service in Butler. He and his son Lester III worked together every day at the East Cunningham Street location until the end of March of this year.
Elliott was also a proud supporter of the Butler Farm Show and a longtime member of the Butler Country Club.
Lester Elliott Jr. was 93 years old.
