Nascar suspends Chase Elliott

Nascar has suspended driver Chase Elliott for this weekend’s race in Illinois after he intentionally wrecked Denny Hamlin during Monday’s Coca-Cola 600. Hendrick Motorsports said they would not appeal the decision and will put Corey Lajoie in the #9 car this weekend.
