Donald E. ”Hurk” Scott

Donald E. ”Hurk” Scott, 71 of Butler passed away on June 10th, 2023. He was born in Butler on May 5th, 1952 to the late Thomas J. Scott Sr. and Hazel C. (Frederick) Scott. Donald served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. Donald worked for AGR as a machinist, where he retired after 40 years. He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors, including going to his camp with family and friends. In addition, he loved tinkering in his wood shop, going to flea markets and auctions, and also liked helping with the annual Ducks Unlimited dinner. Donald was a man of little words, but would help or do anything for anyone when they needed. He is survived by his siblings Thomas (Eileen) Scott Jr., Marjorie Waldroup and Robert (Carol) Scott. He was an uncle, great uncle, great great uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Barbara Ann and brother-in-law Charles Waldroup.
