SherylAnn Geibel, 74 of Chicora died peacefully at home with her family by her side Tuesday, July 25, 2023. SherylAnn was born on March 31,1949 in Sewickley Pa. She was a daughter of Theodore and Arlene Hartle of Harrisville Pa. SherylAnn was the oldest of 10 children. She graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1967 and graduated from Life Christian University with a Bachelor’s of Theology in 2010.
SherylAnn married the love of her life Charles Joseph Geibel Jr. on August 23, 1969. She was the mother of 5 children, Michaele (Patrick) Geibel of Butler, Charles “Jay” (Sharon) Geibel of Freedom, Sandra (Richard) Gaiser of Chicora, Stacey (Dustin) Henstra of Fort Bridger Wyoming, and John (Desiree) Geibel of Chicora. She was also the grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
SherylAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Arlene Hartle, her sister Sharon Meyerott, her son Jay Geibel, a grandson Nicholas Geibel and a granddaughter Brittany Henstra. After raising their children they enjoyed traveling the United States. One of their favorite states is Wyoming where they spent time visiting their daughter and her family. SherylAnn devoted her life to studying the Bible and sharing Christ with others. Her favorite hobbies were canvas painting and card making. SherylAnn was the founder of Alive Ministries, founder and operator of Beacon of Promise Girls Home. She also owned and operated Sheryl’s fabric shop in Chicora for several years. SherylAnn was also a real estate agent and the Donegal Township Tax Collector for 10 years. She will be greatly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and many friends. Family and friends will be received at 602 Liberty Lane, Chicora, PA on Friday, July 28, 2023, beginning at 2 PM with a service at 6 PM. Arrangements through SPENCER D.
