Jeanette “Aunt Nat” (Chmel) Floss, 97, of Washington, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023. She was born in Star City, WV on December 5th, 1925 to the late Vincent Sr. & Helen Chmel. Jeanette graduated from Trinity High School in 1943. She worked for RCA, where she retired after more than 30 years. Jeanette loved to travel the world with her husband. During their travels to Italy, Ireland, Poland, Yugoslavia, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Carousel, Cuba, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. Martin, Mexico, Canada, & many places throughout the United States, they befriended locals and swapped stories about culture. Jeanette found Turkey to be the most exciting & different because of the buildings & people. She also loved ice cream and at the age of 97 she still enjoyed downloading books on her Kindle, so she could read about all the different places she had visited. She was loved and will be forever missed. Jeanette was the loving wife of the late Daniel Floss, whom she married in 1957. She is also survived by 3 nieces & nephews, 5 great nieces & nephews and their spouses, 4 great great nieces & nephews. Along with her husband, Jeanette was preceded in death by a brother & a great niece. Arrangements through SPENCER D.
