Azza Gaines

Azza Gaines, 43, of Butler passed away on Tuesday, August 8th, 2023. Azza was born in Butler on October 23, 1979 to Albert Gaines & Gina (Novelli) Slupe. She graduated from Butler High School. After high school Azza started a family and became a stay-at-home mother & homemaker. She loved singing, music, and shopping.  Azza was known to be a great friend & partner who was loyal, giving, and selfless. She also loved taking care of children. She was loved by all who knew her and will be forever missed.  Along with her parents, Azza is also survived by her stepfather Gerard Slupe; her children Taylor Wheeler, Makayla Gaines, Jadalynn Stewart & Hazelynn Stewart; her grandmother Cecelia Novelli; her sisters Amanda Sacco & Brooklynn Counts and her grandchildren Eleanor, Elijah, and Ronin Wheeler. She is also survived by her nephew Mateo Sacco, and the love of her life, Derek Stewart. Family & friends will be received on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023 from 5-7 PM at SPENCER D.
