A boil water advisory has been issued for some residents on a Cranberry Township road.
Township officials say that a leaking valve was found at 9541 Goehring Road, which required a section of the waterline to be shut down.
Officials say repairs have been made and prior to restoring the water service, all the waterlines were flushed.
The water samples are expected to be back by Thursday, but until that time residents with addresses of 9541 through 9595 Goehring Road are under a boil order.
That means that residents should bring all water to a rolling boil and let it boil for one minute before using.
Residents will be notified when the boil order is lifted.
