Slippery Rock University is receiving recognition as a top school in the region.
According to U.S. News and World Report, Slippery Rock was ranked 50th as the Best Regional University in the North.
School officials say that’s up 35 spots from last year’s ranking.
The list takes into account 19 different measures that reflect academic quality and graduate outcomes.
Bentley University in Massachusetts received the top honor in the Northern Region.
