Bernard F. Yarnot, 82, of Butler passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born on January 20, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Bernard M. Yarnot and Anna Henchar Yarnot.
Bernard was a Terminal Dispatcher for Sunoco. He enjoyed collecting antique car models, going to car cruises, watching Nascar and Steeler games. Bernard was a member of All St. Parish St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife Nancy E. (Cegalis) Yarnot whom he married on February 9, 1963, one son, Brennan Yarnot, one daughter, Lorraine Krajekian, three grandchildren, Elizabeth Krajekian, Connor Yarnot and Allison Yarnot, two brothers, William Yarnot and Martin Yarnot; as well as two sisters, Betty Jean Jones and Eleanor Thomas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Martha Palmer, Amy Barth, and Margaret Simon.
Friends will be received on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA 16001
A Mass of Christian Burial and Committal Service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. from All St. Parish St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean Street, Butler, PA 16001. A Military Service with full honors will follow directly after the Committal Service.
A private burial will take place at the Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
