Residents are invited to join in a fundraiser for a local organization later this week.
The 3rd annual Make-a-Wish Golf Open will take place Thursday at Slippery Rock Golf Club and Events Center.
Registration and lunch will begin at 11 a.m. with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. The day will continue with dinner and live music at 6 p.m. The cost to participate is $600 for a foursome team registration, $175 for a single player, and $40 for dinner only with the chance to win cash, trip, or vehicle prizes worth thousands of dollars.
This event is hosted by the Prebula Family Agency.
