The Seneca Valley School District is teaming up with physician to host a program dealing with the dangers of youth substance abuse and addiction.
The seminar is called “The Power of Prevention” and will be held at the Seneca Valley Senior High Auditorium Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
Ellen O’Brien Gaiser Medical Director Dr. C. Thomas Brophy will lead this presentation for parents and staff. This educational seminar will cover topics related to addiction and is not suitable for children. In addition to how drugs and vaping affect developing brains, parents will also be able to ask questions and obtain resources.
The event is free and open to the public with no reservations required.
