The Pittsburgh Penguins host the Anaheim Ducks tonight to close their four-game home-stand. Face-off is 7pm. Pre-game begins on WISR at 6:30pm.
The Pens lost to the Ottawa Senators 5-2 Saturday night. Goaltender Tristan Jarry was pulled from the game after allowing three goals on the first nine shots from Ottawa. They fell to 3-5 this season. Anaheim enters tonight’s game 4-4.
Former Penguins forward Adam Johnson died Saturday following a tragic accident whole playing a game in England. The 29-year old Johnson collided with another player while playing for the Nottingham Panthers in the United Kingdom’s Elite Ice Hockey League, and the other player’s skate cut his neck. He was later pronounced dead. Johnson played three seasons for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Baby Penguins and appeared in 13 NHL games with the Pens.
