On November 7, voters will take to the polls for the Municipal election. Voters will see schoolboard members, DAs, county commissions, and more local elections.
They will also see three State elections, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Superior Court, and Commonwealth Court. The Supreme Court race between Democrat Daniel McCaffery and Republican Carolyn Carluccio.
Daniel McCaffery is a United States Army Veteran and his law degree is from Temple University. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar, and Montgomery County Bar. McCaffery has been on the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge since 2013.
Carolyn Carluccio has been a judge for the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas since 2009. She was previously a federal prosecutor and is the president of the Montgomery County Bar Association. She was the first woman to be the Chief Public Defender, President Judge, Deputy Chief Clerk, and Acting Director of Human Resources in Montgomery County.
Spending for the Supreme Court race has gone up to $17 million. Democrats currently hold a 4-2 advantage on the bench.
