The Nashville Predators defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2 in overtime last night. Nashville won their sixth game in a row by scoring just :14 seconds into the extra period. Evgeni Malkin and Bryan Rust, who returned from injury last night, scored the Penguins goals.
The Penguins came back from a 2-0 deficit in last night’s game, but went 0-for-2 on the power play in the game. They now have a stretch of 0-for-20 in the last eight games on power plays.
The Pens visit the Tampa Bay Lightning Thursday before returning home to host Philadelphia Saturday.
