SRU football has six academic all-district players – Karns City grad Waltman is one

The Slippery Rock University football team placed six players on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team this week. The list includes Karns City graduate Nathan Waltman, a Karns City graduate who plays tight end at The Rock. Waltman is a junior accounting major from Fenelton, owns a perfect 4.0 GPA.
