Michael Curran

Michael Curran, 81, of Butler, formerly of New Mexico passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. He was born in Cincinnati, Oh on March 30, 1942 to the late William and Lorene (Adsit) Curran. Michael went to Oklahoma State University and got his BA in Liberal Arts. He was a Sports Editor for Ruidoso News Paper, a Novelist, and wrote many political articles until retirement. Michael also owned and operated Butler Equipment Company for 28 years. He was published in the American Thinker. Michael was known for being physically strong, competitive, naturally gifted in sales, and being able to teach himself anything he was interested in. He was a skillful baseball coach that regularly taught lessons for primarily hitting and pitching. Michael was the father of Michael Curran II and Holly Beggs; previous husband of Marci Curran, and Nicki Fragale. He was preceded in death by his brother Timothy Curran.
