A warming center will now be open in downtown Butler for the rest of the winter.
The center is located at the Grace Wellness Center, which is on East Diamond Street.
The facility is open from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. seven days a week.
It offers a safe overnight space for individuals and families experiencing homelessness to sleep, eat, shower and do laundry.
Vouchers are required for entry and can be accessed through either Catholic Charities or the Center for Community Resources—both of which are located in downtown Butler. The vouchers can also be found by calling:

The warming center will be open through March 31st. The center is a service offered through a partnership between United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania and Glade Run Lutheran Services.
