An event later this month is looking to raise money for a program to help with Butler County Community College’s adult literacy program.
The Luncheon for Literacy will be hosted Sunday, February 18th at the college’s main campus.
The event will include special speakers, basket raffles, and a chance for guests to create a literary design for their table.
The function is coordinated by the Butler PM Rotary and continues to grow in popularity; having raised over $52,000 since they began in 2011.
The adult literacy program at BC3 is a free course for adults that helps them earn a commonwealth secondary school diploma. The proceeds also benefit the “English as a Second Language.”
