Judy L. (Sollinger) Hancock, 77, of Butler, PA, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Butler Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was born October 1, 1946 in Butler, PA, the daughter of the late William Sollinger and Alma (Hilgar) Sollinger.
Judy was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church and had been a private duty nurse. Judy loved watching her grandchildren participating in sporting events and showing their animals at the farm show and traveling. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, James Hancock; a son, James “Jay” J. (April) Hancock of Brunswick, OH, a daughter, Jodi (Joshua) Teets of Slippery Rock, her grandchildren, James, Mac, Faith, Owen Levi and BJ Hancock and Colt and Morgan Teets.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
Visitation from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM will be held at the St. John’s United Methodist Church, 244 Halston Rd., Slippery Rock, on Thursday, February 15, 2024 with Pastor Earl Dykes officiating.
Private interment in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
