The Butler County Symphony returns to the stage for their latest performance this weekend.
The symphony will welcome back former musical director Matthrew Kraemer, who will lead the performance of Gustav Mahler’s “Titan,” which was written in the late 1880s.
They will also showcase a composition by Westminster professor Dr. Daniel Perttu named “Valor.”
“It’s a 10 minute piece at the beginning of the program that is about heroism,” Perttu said. “It pairs well with Mahler’s Titan.”
Local high school and college students will also be featured during the show, which begins Saturday night at 7:30 at the Butler Intermediate High School.
Tickets are $30 pre-sale online for adults, and $35 at the door.
