Some local students will observe Read Across America Week with theme days during the upcoming week.
On Monday, students at Mars Area Elementary School will have the chance to participate in “Read Your Shirt” Day and wear a shirt with letters or words.
Tuesday is “Celebrate Read Across America” Day with students able to wear red, white, and blue.
Other themes include “Be the Kind Kid” Wednesday, and “Crazy Fox in Socks” Thursday.
