Fred A. Panei

Fred A. Panei, 66, of Butler passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024. He was born in Butler on September 22, 1957 to the late Henry “Reggie” and Bessie (McCanna) Panei. Throughout his career Fred worked as a truck driver until his retirement. He loved to hunt, fish, play pool and spend his free time at the Italian Club. Fred was known for his love of sports, specifically the Raiders and Pirates, muscle cars, and truck driving. And loved talking on the CB to other truckers. Father of Jesse (Leigh) Panei; brother of Linda Hinchberger and Michele (Tim) Skarada, grandfather of Jordan and Jaron Panei. Fred is also survived by his nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Nancy Swain and Danny Panei. All services will be held privately through the SPENCER D.
