A Butler City man is facing charges of terroristic threats after threatening residents in an apartment building.
Butler City Police were called to a home on the 600 block of West Penn Street on last Thursday for a man allegedly threating to burn down an apartment building with the residents inside.
When police arrived, they found 50-year-old Baron Beichner who is accused making the threats. When officers spoke with Beichner, he allegedly smelled of alcohol.
Police also spoke with residents and accused Beichner of saying he was going to “burn the place down” and screaming racial slurs.
Beichner is facing several charges including terroristic threats and ethnic intimidation.
